This is a fabulous effort from Sri. For folks who have challenges to read Tamil, this is an opportunity to read one of the all-time classics. I have just started listening to the MP3 and I am beyond impressed.

I was lucky to come across your Ponniyin Selvan audio files. Your efforts are commendable. In addition to making it available to the present youth, who may not be good at reading tamil, this audio version is a fantastic gift to senior citizens (like my parents) who enjoyed this novel in their youth, however can not sustain re-reading it now due to their old age.
Rajeswari - coimbatore - We are listening to this from India (Coimbatore). My uncle (granduncle rather!) is an eighty four-year-old Thatha and he read Ponniyin Selvan when it was being published in a serial form in the magazine. He lost his vision due to diabetes and his greatest regret is that he is unable to read any more books. He is great fan of Kalki when I played the podcasts -- he had tears in his eyes. He tells me that he is transported to a different world and can feel the presence of characters when he hears your audio book

It is such a blessing for me to be able to "read" these classics via your audio versions. I have purchased the complete Ponniyin selvan audio from emusic, and I am currenly in baagam 3. Such an interesting story, and what a beautiful presentation by Mr. Sri ! I have read many many english audio books by professional readers, and they are all great no doubt, but somehow the ponniyin selvan audio has a very natural flow and has "soul" in the narration. Please convey my respects to the narrator Mr.Sri.

It is a dream for me who read this novel 100 times. i liked the voice provider's modulation. it gave life to the audio book otherwise it would have been a futile effort.
a five star rating,

This is FANTASTIC.
Your audiobooks have helped people like me who struggle to read Tamizh.
Hope one day we will get to hear Udaiyar of Balakumaran ( the other side of PS) in your voice.

Sri - Vanakkam. I had the pleasure of listening to parthiban kanavu, and I am hoping to buy ponniyin selvan soon. Your presentation and voice modulations were exceptional.
I really enjoyed listening to them. Because this had been in my iPod for a while,
I have listened to them more times than I have kept count, and the presentation is still impressive.
Keep up the good work. Kudos!
